What's the difference between Free and Premium?

Premium includes ad-free experience, 5× the AI quota of Free, and up to 30 chat memo references (vs. 5 on Free). URL summarization, atomic notes, AI automatic titling, and every quiz format (including Free Text / Fill-in-the-Blank / Ordering) and difficulty are also available on Free (an ad plays once the AI quota is exceeded, otherwise no ad). Check the subscription screen for full details. Premium also includes unlimited agent actions: just ask in chat and the AI creates notes, links notes together, and adds tags for you (the free plan includes one per day). You review each action before it runs, and beyond creating and adding, the AI can also edit the body of an existing note (you see what changes and can correct it first). It can never delete notes, tags, or links. Connecting external AI clients works on the free plan as well; Premium widens how much of your knowledge base the AI can work across and removes the daily saving limit.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Cancel through the subscription management screen in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). You cannot cancel from within the app.

What are connectors (MCP)?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) lets external AI clients access your Clone+ knowledge base. You issue a Personal Access Token in Settings -> Connectors; tokens are read-only by default (write access is optional) and can be revoked anytime. You can issue tokens on the free plan, and tokens are never stored in plaintext - only a hash is kept.

Some apps connect by simply pasting a connection URL. In that case you do not issue a token at all: you just review the approval screen and choose Allow. You can disconnect at any time from Settings -> Connectors. Both methods work on the free plan. Premium widens how much of your knowledge base the AI can work across. Revoked tokens and disconnected apps disappear from the list right away.

Can I use my Clone+ notes from an external AI app?

Yes. Open Settings → Connectors and you will find the MCP server URL there. Paste https://mcp.clone-plus.com/mcp into that app's “add a connector” setting and Clone+ will show an approval screen. Review it and choose Allow to finish. An app may search and read your notes, links and chats, and add new notes and links — it can never edit or delete existing notes. You can disconnect at any time from Settings → Connectors. It works on the free plan too.

Is the connection address secret?

Yes, it is safe. https://mcp.clone-plus.com/mcp is the same address for every user and is not a secret like an access token. Your account is linked only when you, while signed in, choose Allow on the approval screen shown during setup. Knowing the address alone does not give anyone access to another person's notes. Access tokens issued under Settings → Connectors are different — those are secret and must never be shared.
