Connectors (MCP)
Connect external AI clients to your Clone+ knowledge base via MCP (Model Context Protocol). They can search and read your memos, links, and chat sessions, and (with a write-enabled token) save sessions or add memos, links, and tags.
To issue an access token
- Open Settings -> Connectors
- Tap "Issue token"
- Choose read-only or include write access
- Copy the token shown once and paste it into your AI client's MCP config
To revoke a token
- Open Settings -> Connectors
- Select the token in the list
- Tap "Revoke" (you can also temporarily disable and re-enable)
Safety
- The plaintext token is shown only once at issuance; only a hash is stored
- Read-only is the default; write access must be enabled explicitly
- Revoke immediately if you suspect a token has leaked
You can issue tokens on the free plan. Premium raises how many tokens you can hold and removes the daily limit on saving.
Connecting by pasting a URL
Some apps connect by simply pasting a URL. With this method you never copy a token.
- In the app you want to connect, enter https://mcp.clone-plus.com/mcp as the connection URL
- A Clone+ approval screen opens. Review what will be allowed and choose Allow
- To disconnect, open Settings -> Connectors and revoke that connection
This method also works on the free plan. What you approve cannot be changed later, so disconnect and reconnect if you need different access.
See the steps for your app
In Settings -> Connectors, tap "See how to connect" to open the public documentation in your browser. It covers where the setting lives in each app (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code) and how to use an access token. Available in Japanese and English.
