AI Agent

Let the AI create memos, link them, add tags and edit text. You always review what it will do before it runs.

To let the AI create notes and links for you (agent)

1. Tap "Agent" inside the chat input box to turn it on
2. Ask for something like "make a note about X" or "link notes on similar themes" (you do not have to name the notes; the AI looks for related ones)
3. Review each operation on its own confirmation card just before it runs, then tap Run (you can approve one and decline the rest)

The AI can create notes, link notes together, add tags, and edit note bodies. It can never delete notes, tags, or links.

• It can only edit a note you pointed to in that conversation — not one it merely found by searching. The confirmation card shows what changes (lines removed and added) and how much, and you can correct it before it runs. To replace a whole body it must have read the note, and if you edited that note after it read it, the change is cancelled.

• Hand it a URL and it opens the page and pulls out just what you asked for (YouTube is read from its transcript). It can only open URLs you wrote in the conversation, or URLs written in your notes. Up to 3 pages per request.

• When it genuinely cannot decide, it may offer you a choice. Picking one continues the work right away (it does not use up your daily count).

Note: on the confirmation card you can read the whole thing and edit it in place. You can also tap "Ask the AI to revise it" and say something like "make it shorter" to get a reworked version to confirm.

Note: you are only asked about operations that change your data. Searching and reading notes happens without a prompt. Declining does not end the conversation — the AI will suggest another way.

Note: you can ask for follow-on work in one go, such as "make a note about this and link it to related notes". The AI looks things up as it goes and works through the steps.

Note: if web search is off and your request needs looking something up, the agent asks whether to turn it on. Tapping "Turn on and continue" flips the toggle and carries on. The prompt alone does not use up your daily quota.

Note: when the agent is on, answers end with suggestions for what to do next. Tap one to put it in the input box, then send it when you are happy with it. If there is nothing concrete to suggest, it asks for what it is missing instead.

Note: notes it creates are tagged ai-created, so you can find or remove them together later.

Note: the agent toggle stays on only while you have the app open, and returns to off the next time you open it, so you never carry over permission for AI to touch your knowledge base without noticing.

Note: you can skip the confirmation in Settings → Data controls → "Agent automation" (Premium only). With automation on, you cannot stop an unintended action before it runs.

Note: the free plan includes one agent run per day; Premium has no limit (what counts is actually creating a note, linking notes, or adding a tag — asking a question with the agent on, or choosing Cancel on the confirmation card, does not use up your run).

Note: while the agent is on, you can send follow-up requests without waiting for the reply — on any plan. Queued requests run in order. Regular chat still waits for each answer.
